One of my days in Belgium was spent in Brugge. Quaint little city. I went on a canal cruise, which was fantastic. The canals were filled with ducks and swans, which made for some great pictures. Here is one.
The ducks possessed two problems through.
1 They pay no mind to the oncoming canal boats.
2 They cause mass confusion for passengers.
The bridges in Brugge are super low, and canal boats will barely fit under them. When the driver yelled, “Duck!” I didn’t know whether he meant “Quack quack,” or “Watch you’re noggin!” There are still a few of my hairs left in the arch of a bridge on a Brugge canal.
