Hi! I’m Bryson. I can wiggle my ears and I once caused a department store to go into turmoil because I accidentally pulled the fire alarm. If you’d like to know a little more about the voice behind What Are This, read on!

I’m from an extremely small town in rural Kentucky. Contrary to what some people think, I wear shoes, I have all my teeth, and I don’t know anyone married to his/her cousin.

I graduated from Western Kentucky University where I studied professional writing and journalism writing. 

My absolute favorite thing is traveling. I’m currently the global learning recruitment specialist for WKU. I travel the world and meet all kinds of people for a living. So, look for posts about my adventures.

I love the outdoors when it comes to hiking, fishing, camping, and such; however, if the temperature gets above 90 degrees, don’t look for me outside.

I enjoy reading, but don’t do it as much as I’d like. My favorite book is To Kill a Mockingbird. If you’re not a classic-lover, I’m also a little obsessed with The Hunger Games; I may or may not have illegally touched one of Jennifer Lawrence’s costumes from one of the movies and almost cried.

I did Semester at Sea, which allowed me to live and take classes on a ship for four months. I sailed around the Atlantic in the process and haven’t been able to shut up about it since.

I’m 27 and can barely tell you a thing about retirement plans. I do, however, have a house that stays relatively clean, and it contains things like a steak knife set and a rug in the living room. I’m basically an adult.
